The lock gates of immense new sea locks such as in Panama or IJmuiden, a mega deep-sea quay at Maasvlakte 2 and complex dike reinforcement projects. At Iv-Infra, we love complex technical challenges. Every project is a brain teaser that forces us to think beyond the usual. As a Project Leader, you will be free to organise projects how you see fit. You will manage a young and enthusiastic team of highly educated consultants, designers, drafters and work planners. You will create new opportunities and realise innovations and sustainable solutions by deviating from the familiar paths. You will work on projects in the field of hydraulic structures for various types of clients. You are the point of contact for our clients and are responsible for the progress, cost control and quality. In short, you will ensure we exceed the client's expectations.

Iv provides tailor-made and innovative designs and advice for constructing and maintaining sustainable infrastructure. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the new IJMuiden sea lockthe Zandhazen Bridge or the design of the Panama Canal lock gates. By developing and applying the latest technologies, we offer ready-made and sustainable solutions for not only today's societal challenges but also those of tomorrow! We provide integral advice for steel and concrete civil engineering works, hydraulic engineering, spatial planning, upkeep, traffic and infrastructure installations and railways. We also offer specialist services in spatial measurement and monitoring structures, RAMS and risk management, asset management, systems engineering, contract management, project management, and supervision.

What do we expect of you?

You must have a higher vocational/university level degree (HBO/WO) in Civil and at least five years of experience in the field of Hydraulic Structures (for example, structures such as locks and flood barriers, but also longitudinal structures in flood defences and quay structures in port areas). You must have experience in leading multidisciplinary projects, good communication skills, an eye for quality and be capable of setting priorities appropriately. Your extensive network paves the way for you to score new assignments. We consider your enthusiasm and drive to be fundamental in this role. You know exactly how to reveal the client's actual needs and how to get the best out of your team. Besides your regular work location (Haarlem or Sliedrecht), you must also be willing to work from other locations.
